I tried to write what I wanted to say but it felt like something that should be spoken instead, enjoy!

Key points to takeaways:
-Sitting is a form of resistance to what exhausts us, it is a spiritual practice.
-When I speak of sitting, I speak of doing nothing except consciously breathing.
-I use the word sitting instead of meditation for simplification purposes.
-You have to practice sitting. It’s not something that we just know how to do without feeling guilty.
-There is ALWAYS something that needs to be done so you have to give yourself time to step away from what you are doing to sit.
-When you practice sitting there is a possibility for new patterns to emerge, less rushing, more trusting in yourself and your rhythm.
-You learn how to be more of grounded in who you want to be instead of what everything outside of you demands you to be.
-Sitting can be torturous since you are challenged to be with your oversaturated mind.
-The benefits of sitting are subtle you become better at seeing what you normally would not see, hearing what you normally would not hear, and overall better at understanding yourself and life.
-Sitting teaches you how to know the difference between when you should be taking aligned action vs when you should be still(balancing the feminine and masculine)
-Sitting is about learning how to allow and to receive.
-You are worthy even when you are sitting.
-Sitting too much can also lead to atrophy, feeling frozen/stuck, feeling unable to get into action, and feelings of depression or disconnection (more on that another time maybe but the collective equally suffers from moving too much and also not moving enough)
Reflection Portal:
I challenge you to start setting a timer to sit and breathe for 10 minutes. You don’t have to close your eyes but pay attention to how you feel and what thoughts come up. Challenge those thoughts that don’t align with you and break free💗
